Cleansing
I am
going to teach you something my Father taught me. I am going to
teach you how to cleanse your house. Now I didn’t say clean your
house, I said cleanse your house.
Leviticus
14:44 Then the priest
shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the
house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean.
You know
if you have a leprosy in your house it doesn’t always have to
manifest itself as a rising or a scab or a bright spot. It can be
tension in your marriage, misbehavior in your children, or even bad
parenting. How about depression? You know what is wrong in your
house. You name it. Sometimes if I am sick and laying on the couch
I will ask my teenage daughters to cleanse the house. Sometimes I
feel better immediately.
1 John
4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth
that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. So stand in the
middle of your house and tell the house, any spirit that cannot
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth. In the order of Melchisedec and the energy of
El Elyon.
Ezekiel
42:11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them
the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out
thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and
all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may
keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do
them. This verse says to write them in their sight. My daughter
used to suffer from bloody noses. So I took a magic marker and a
piece of construction paper and wrote Ezekiel 16:6 on it. This I
thumb tacked over her bed. Ezekiel 16:6 and when I passed by thee,
and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou
wast in thy blood, Live: yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy
blood, Live. 3 John 2 is over my husband’s desk. 3 John 2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in
health, even as thy soul prospereth. In my kitchen I have Proverbs
30:8 Feed me with food convenient for me: In my son’s room I have
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever
things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are
of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things.
And my
dining room has Proverbs 24:4 and by knowledge shall the chambers
be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. The verse says
write them in their sight. It doesn’t matter if it makes any
difference or not. Just do it.
Matthew
12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the
kingdom of God is come unto you. This God refers to El Elyon. The
Bible tells us to cast them out.
Salt is
a symbol of cleansing. So when I cleanse my house, I get a handful
of salt and sprinkle it around as I go from room to room. This is
not good for wood furniture so be careful. Sometimes I will see a
shadow move or a reflection, sometimes I get a cold chill or a bad
feeling. Then I say, I bind you, bruise you, cast you out in the
power of Jesus name.
When my
house was built many years ago,
whether
the builder knew it or not, God knew that someday I would live here.
Therefore I say, this house was fashioned for the Lords presence,
you have no authority here.
I liken
cleansing my house to cleaning the bathroom. When I clean the
bathroom, I don’t go into the living room and turn the TV off, I
simply set to work. I don’t tell the kids they have to put their
games away and be reverent. I just get the toilet cleaner and a
brush and scrub the toilet. It is the same with cleansing; I just
do it, with the TV on and the neighbor kids playing with my kids.
But I do a good job, I do every room and closet, attic and
basement. For example one time I was cleansing and my son was in
his bedroom doing homework. I knocked on his door and said I am
cleansing, may I cleanse through? He nodded and continued doing his
homework. If you have this
laid
back attitude about it when nothing serious is gong on, then when
you are fighting with a family member they won’t raise an eyebrow
when you cleanse their room. How often should you cleanse your
house? I know a lady who was having problems with her husband. I
suggested she cleanse her house. She said oh I did that about 10
years ago. I had the priest come. He did a very good job. That is
not enough! This is one of those jobs that must be done regularly
whether you see or feel anything or not. Do you go to the grocery
store? Maybe you brought something back with you. Do your
neighbors come in? Salesmen, repairmen, junk mail? Do you channel
surf? I would not ask you to eliminate anything out of your
lifestyle. But these things do bring spirits. It is as if you
brought dirt in on your shoe. That has to be cleaned up. Just be
mature enough to clean up after yourself.
Every
time I clean my bathrooms I then cleanse the house. This helps me
remember to do it. I try to do it every week. But sometimes it
doesn’t get done. That is OK. It is not the end of the world. But
sometimes I walk into the bathroom and notice that it needs to be
cleaned and this is a reminder to me. I don’t think you should be
dogmatic about anything.
Always
remember there is no such thing as a void, after casting out….
Invite in the Holy Spirit, or the opposite of what you cast out. As
I walk around my house, I cast out the spirit of fear on the steps
and invite in the spirit of safety. At my husbands desk I invite in
the spirit of prosperity. Love and forgiveness in my bedroom, peace
in the guestroom. Organization and cleanliness in my son’s bedroom.
Do not
teach your children that there is no such thing as ghosts. There
are, and they are very bad. The only good spirit is holy and will
bring peace. Teach your children that séances are real. 1 Samuel
28:15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquited me, to bring
me up? This really happened. This woman was not a fake. God was
angry with Saul for disturbing Samuel. 1 Chronicles 10:13 So Saul
died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even
against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking
counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire of it: And
also Deuteronomy 18: 10 -12 There shall not be found among you any
one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or
that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or
a witch. 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or
a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an
abomination unto the LORD.
When we
bought our house there were many evil spirits there. I knew that
God moved us to that house because he wanted that house and the
neighborhood cleaned up. It took a very long time of battling until
I was comfortable in my home. Finally I read Matthew 17:21 Howbeit
this kind goeth not out but by praying and fasting. After a friend
and I fasted for 3 days, I felt my house was clean. My friend was
also living in an evil spirit infested house. He prayed for mine
and I prayed for his.
There is
a difference between being attacked and being possessed. Everyone
gets attacked from time to time. Matthew 26: 38 then saith he unto
them, my soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye
here, and watch with me. Jesus was attacked. If there is a bad
spirit around, get rid of it! This is not demeaning it simply means
you’re alive.
If you
are battling
demon possession then you have to take responsibility to cast out
the evil spirits regularly and invite in the good. Do this every
time you shampoo your hair or blow your nose. Find something you do
to use as a reminder to pray for yourself regularly. You don’t have
to throw up. Just tell it to leave.
You need
to remember that Satan is a liar and the father of lies. So don’t
enter into a conversation, if you do just remember that everything
said is probably a lie. Therefore it is a fruitless conversation
and a waste of time. 1 John 4:4 ye are of God, little children,
and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than
he that is in the world. Keep the attitude of I don’t need to know
who you are. Don’t you know who I am? Ha! Ha! I am a son of God!
My name is written in the Lamb’s book of Life, and yours isn’t!
That is the bottom line. I don’t want to know how long you have
been here or anything else about you. If you can’t confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord, than get out!

With
hindsight, I can now say, I was truly led of the Holy Spirit, to
have this reunion. Thank you, Father

Dear
David Ebaugh Bible School Students,
Thanks to
all the faithful students who came to Harrisburg PA over Labor Day
weekend to support Mom in her very first solo public teaching
experience at the DEBS reunion, 2003. In pilot’s vernacular, she
“greased her landing!” That means she came in, perfectly lined up,
knew exactly where she was and what she was doing, and what needed
to happen next. Her landing was perfect in every detail. Not a
single bump! Smooth, baby, smooth!
The
meetings were held at the Youth For Christ building in
Harrisburg. We all liked
it better than the hotel setting. It was a much more relaxed
atmosphere, bathrooms were close and clean, and the kitchen was
right there for anyone to get up and get themselves a drink or
snack. The “meals on your own” plan made it much more economical
for everyone. Everyone seemed to arrive at the building about an
hour before each meeting, and hung around afterwards, so there was
still time for catching up with friends. As is our tradition, the
grandkids provided musical entertainment. They’re all growing up
and are now quite polished in their presentations.
On
Saturday, Mom kicked the meetings off with her very thorough lessons
on the different feasts in the Bible. She tied all the fests in to
the Jewish calendar, and our own calendar, and made each one of the
feasts applicable to our every day lives. She demonstrated how our
physical and spiritual growth mirrored the feasts. Mom wrapped up
her lecture by proving why Christians should celebrate Christmas
more than any other group of people. She ended up showing us where
the chronology of the feast will be taking next, as the Body of
Christ, and as individuals.
On
Sunday afternoon, Diane Sutton (bike-riding daughter, the one with
the long dark curly hair) taught about an entirely new way of
looking at Jesus’ breaking of the bread. She likened the loaf of
bread to Ezekiel’s temple, and explained the east and west doors and
the “going outs” and “coming ins” of the six gates. Diane used a
real loaf of bread to show us the model of Ezekiel’s temple, and
demonstrated the way Jesus may have used the breaking of bread in
the parables of the loaves and fishes, and in the last supper, to
fulfill Ezekiel’s prophecy. She followed the lecture with a
wonderfully moving communion service.
Sunday
evening Mom had a very unusual lesson on Ultimate Reconciliation.
She assigned each of us a Bible verse. We lined up at the
microphone and read our verses. There were about 60 different
verses. After that, there were a few questions, followed by several
personal testimonies from folks who shared their own experiences
regarding their discovery of this truth. It was a very interactive
session, and loads of fun.
On
Monday, the whole group celebrated the ordination of Marcellene
Currens (car driving daughter with the very short hair, you never
know what color it will be) by anointing her with oil and prayers.
She then taught her entertaining lesson on “Rules on Finding Favor,
Health, and Prosperity in the Lord.” She followed the message with
her moving interpretation of the Lord’s Prayer for the new
millennium.
Monday
evening, Rosalie Thompson (tricycle riding daughter, the one with
chin length dark wavy hair) taught on Revelation 17:10 – 18:24.
Using remarkable imagery, she tied that prophetic word into what
happened to the twin towers on 9-11. She left us with no doubt that
God’s prophetic word is being manifested today.
Michael
Ebaugh (the airplane pilot, he doesn’t need a description, he’s the
only boy!) then led us into a prayer meeting like no other I’ve ever
attended. The Holy Spirit moved on each individual in the building,
and folks prayed for each other, moving about the room, as they felt
led. The conference ended with singing, praise, and worship to our
Lord.
Each
session was recorded by Sam Sutton (Diane’s oldest son) who is
creating CD’s of the entire event. The folks who were at the
reunion were able to purchase the uncut, unedited versions of the
meetings on the spot. The edited versions will be available for
purchase within the next couple of months for $10 per CD. The
edited CDs will have the tracks cut in them so you can stop the CD
whenever you want, and advance to the section you want to listen to
later. That’s great, because now you won’t have to listen to the
entire CD to find the section you want to hear again. That will be
much more convenient for folks who listen to the CDs in the car.
You’ll be able start the CD where you left off when you turned off
the car. Thanks, Sam.
We are
grateful to all the folks who came, and for the prayers and well
wishes from each of you as Mom continues to run the
Bible School. We are very
proud of her. She’s doing a tremendous job.
