David Ebaugh applies the tools of his former trade, engineering, to cast a penetrating light on Bible prophecy.  His views and insights are novel.  David started teaching the Bible on a part time basis in 1960 when he first noticed the doubles and parallels of Revelation.  His Key to Revelation book has opened many other doors to scripture.  In 1968 he left his profession of Electronic Engineering to devote full-time to Bible teaching.  He was ordained to the ministry in 1972.

Formerly a submarine sailor, David received engineer training from the U.S. Navy, University of Wisconsin, Purdue University, New York University, University of Illinois and received his engineering diploma from the Institute Electrical and Electronic Engineers in NYC.  He has made significant inventions in typewriters for IBM.  He set up production lines for missiles and flight simulators.  He is a senior member of the American Society of Tool and Manufacturing Engineers,  and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Society of American Valve Engineers and the Institute of Industrial Engineers.  His full financial support has come from Bible teaching since 1968.

David Ebaugh and Betty LeTourneau were married in 1950.  They have four children and ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.  David's biographical records appears in Marquis WHO'S WHO IN FINANCE and WHO'S WHO IN THE EAST and WHO'S WHO IN RELIGION.

The School

The David Ebaugh Bible School features the teachings of its founder David Ebaugh.  It is Made up of over 10,000 students who actively search the Bible for ideas that uncover the enigma of the Christian life using Ebaugh's audio and video cassettes, and books.  The school has no brick and mortar, but operates mainly as a mail order school. David travels extensively throughout the U.S. and occasionally to foreign countries.  There are five main areas of investigation into the scriptures;  (1) Spirit, Soul and Body  (2) Names Of God  (3) Law Or Grace (4) Revelation Prophecy  (5) Immortality.  The scriptures are probed and examined in an effort to produce attitude changes that prepare the student for the manifestation of the Sons Of God.

The school examines theology from many sources which includes, but are not limited to: Fundamental, Evangelical, Pentecostal and Charismatic beliefs.  Minor emphasis is placed on the differences in translations from Hebrew and or Greek to English, and how this effects our interpretation of the Bible.  Faith in God, belief in the works of the Lord Jesus Christ and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit are all emphasized.  The school expands due to word of mouth recommendation of the students.

A publication called the MONARCH is regularly mailed to all students.  This mailing list is never purged or sold for any reason.

The cassette lessons are made during actual live teachings sessions in Hershey, Baltimore, West Chester and Washington D.C., and many other locations.  Material was edited and combined into a final teaching cassette.  This method preserves the moves of the Holy Spirit during the meeting while providing the best delivery on selected subjects.  When possible, books and or videos are produced on the subject. MONARCHS cover all subjects in detail.  Students purchase audio and video cassettes, and books.  One book of each title is given free to people who may not be able to afford it.  MONARCHS are mailed free.

The Philosophy

Dear Students,

All Bible lessons of the David Ebaugh Bible School are based on the following concepts:

1.  Every student would do what GOD told that person to do if the person knew that it was GOD who was speaking.

2.  Revelation from GOD is continuous.

3.  Truth is timely.

a. Students will ask GOD for knowledge and strength to walk in timely truth.

b.  Students will adjust or change their walk as they discover timely truth.

4.  The Spirit of Truth is always in harmony with the truth as expressed in the Bible.

a.  The letter of the word is sometimes in conflict with itself as time progresses, but the spirit of the word is not.

5.  Truth can be found in many places, from many different people.

a.  No one place, group or person has all truth.

b.  Students will ask God to put them in the right place at the right time with the right people to receive His Continuous Revelation.

6.  No one group, place or person is infallible.

a.  At the manifestation of the Sons Of God, this statement, which presently is timely truth, will change.

7.  The David Ebaugh Bible School is dedicated to building the students, not building the school.

a.  All property, equipment and tools are usable items for the purpose of building people.

b.  Students help provide materials for the use of other students to follow, thereby exercising their responsibility to build the school.

8.  The David Ebaugh Bible School does not exist apart from the gifts from the students.

9.  Students will study to shew themselves approved unto God, workmen that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (II Tim. 2:15)

In Christian Love,

David P. Ebaugh

 Statement of Faith

June 1987

A statement of faith should be a living, growing, changing declaration.  This statement of Faith is the way we see Bible truth at this time.

The background for each item has been taught in our books and/or tape lectures.

I trust that this summary of what we believe about theology will be very helpful to you.

First - The Christian's Complete Confession

We confess that:

Jesus is the Christ;    Jesus is the Son of God;    Jesus has come in the flesh;    Jesus is Lord;    God raised Jesus from the dead;    God is full of mercy;

We should confess these things among the gentiles;    We should confess our faults (side slips) to another;    We should confess our sins (missing the mark) to God.

Second - Jesus Was, Is and Shall Be

We believe that:

Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, led an exemplary life, and died on the cross;

Jesus' blood redeemed mankind from the penalty of sin;

Jesus' stripes bring healing (and health) to the believer;

Jesus became poor for the sake of the Christian saints so that they might become rich (and have wealth);

Jesus provides health and wealth to the Christian saints who seek him;

Jesus was resurrected from the dead through the power of the Holy Spirit;

Jesus ascended bodily into heaven, to be at the right hand of God until the restitution of all things;

Jesus shall return bodily from heaven to rule and reign on the earth;

Jesus is the name of the man, born of the virgin Mary, who became our Saviour;

Christ is not the last name of Jesus.   Christ means "the anointed one", the Messiah.  Christ is a designation of authority, responsibility, and power, a title;

The Holy Bible refers to two Christ's: (1) Jesus Christ and (2) the Body of Christ.

Third - The Holy Bible

We believe that:

The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God, and it is the ultimate authority in all matters of theology;

The Holy Spirit brings life to the Holy Bible, but the letter of the Word brings death;

Students should study the Holy Bible to rightly divide the passages into;

(1) literal,    (2) symbolic, and    (3) spiritual meanings, and the divisions should not be confounded with each other.

The passages of the Holy Bible should further be divided into:

(1) Spirit (heart)

(2) Soul (mind attitudes), and

(3) Body (temporal) understandings, and the divisions should not be confounded with each other;

The passages of the Holy Bible should also be divided into;

(1) past,    (2) present, and    (3) future understandings, and should not be confounded with each other.

The passages of the Holy Bible should also be divided into:

(1) law (Old Testament, Moses, judgment), and

(2) grace (New Testament, Jesus, mercy), and the division should not be confounded with each other;

The passages in the New Testament that refer to passages in the Old Testament should be clearly identified as such because they do not necessarily define a standard of conduct for New Testament Christian saints;

Truth is timely.  What is present present timely truth to one person may or may not be timely truth to another person because of differences in Christian development (maturity).

There are two gospels that are identified in the Holy Bible;

(1) The gospel of the Circumcision that was given to Peter is a mixture of the law of Moses with the grace of Jesus Christ.  It is not timely truth for mature Christian saints, but it is timely truth for babes in Christ;

(2) The gospel of the Un-circumcision that was given to Paul is a message of the pure grace of Jesus Christ.  It is timely truth for Christian saints who are striving to overcome the last enemy - death.

Fourth - The Acts Of The Holy Spirit

We believe that:

The Holy Spirit baptizes the believer with nine gifts which include tongues, interpretations, prophecy, wisdom, knowledge, discerning of spirits, faith, hearings and miracles;

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is timely truth for today;

The Holy Spirit is the power of the resurrection, and He comes upon the souls (mind, attitudes) of mankind to manifest the plans and purpose of our God, and to perfect the individual soul;

Our God also sends angels, dreams, and visions to give direct readings to his people today;

Christian saints should seek to improve their own spiritual sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit, angels, dreams and visions that are sent to them by our God;

The New Testament pattern indicates that the results of seeking improved spiritual sensitivity are usually an improvement in temporal health, wealth and quality of temporal life;

Supernatural forces from our God lead the Christian saints into paths that are always in harmony with the spirit of the Holy Bible.

Fifth - What Our God, El Elyon, The Father, The Most High God Was, Is, and Shall Be In Relation To The Christian Saints

We believe that:

God, El Elyon, the Father, The Most High God, created all things with love, for His own eternal purposes, not for our own temporal purposes;

The name nature of God of Judaism and most of former Christianity is YAHWEH;

The name nature of the God of the Christian saints who shall overcome death is El Elyon;

Christian saints received the grace and purpose of our God, El Elyon, before the world began, and those purposes are written in their own scripts in the volume of the book;

The tension and stress of the present Christian life is the result of the differences between the purposes of our God, El Elyon, that the Christian saint received before the world began and the temporal, self-serving purposes that the god of this world (Satan) offers to the maturing Christian;

The purpose of the devil is to attack the weak areas (bruise their heels) in the lives of the maturing Christians, thereby revealing what areas still need to be changed;

God created Satan as the destroyer, and hell as the place of destruction, in order to remove all evil from the world;

Selfish saints slip;    Gracious saints grow.

Sixth - The Perfected Christian Saints, The Manifested Sons Of Our God

We believe that:

Our God, El Elyon, gave some apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers (known as the five fold ministry) for the perfecting of the saints, Till we come in the unity of the faith;

At the time that all Christians are in the unity of the faith, then the five fold ministry shall fade away;

The generation of perfected Christian saints that will be alive at the time of the coming resurrection shall receive the three fold salvation:

(1) Jesus in their spirits (hearts)

(2) the Holy Spirit in their souls (minds), and

(3) the glory of God upon their physical bodies.

The complete three fold salvation shall empower the perfected Christian saints to:

(1) go through the tribulation victoriously ,

(2) to overcome the last enemy - death, and

(3) to become the manifest Sons of our God.

All creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of our God, the perfected Christian saints who do complete the three fold salvation;

The manifestation of the Sons of our God shall be at the same time as the redemption of the physical bodies of the perfected Christian saints;

Christ shall rule the kingdom of our God with love through the manifested Sons of our God  during the millennium "down here" on earth, not "up there" in heaven;

Christ shall bring forth the resurrection of the SPIRIT BODIES of the deceased Christian believers.  Those SPIRIT BODIES shall fellowship with and assist the manifested Sons of our God, during the millennium.  The resurrection is for SPIRIT BODIES of the deceased Christian believers; it is not for the natural physical bodies that have died.

Jesus has promised to return to earth again to receive the kingdom of our God from the perfected saints, the manifested Sons of our God, at the end of the millennium, after the restitution of all things.

Seventh - Constructive Change

We believe that:

Our God, El Elyon, accepts all mankind just as they are, and subsequently gives them the power to change into what they should be;

We should stand as candidates for all the changes necessary so that we may become a part of that group of perfected Christian saints, the manifested Sons of our God, who shall overcome the last enemy - death.

A statement of faith should be dated because Jesus is building His church on the rock of continuous revelation.
