THOUGHTS

Isaac Newton wrote the law of universal gravitation, it says; "every mass in the universe attracts every other mass by a force which is directly proportional to the product of the two masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them". This means, if I walk out my back door, I must bend my knee and my ankle a certain way to walk down those three steps. This helps me to overcome the force of gravity. If I don’t bend my knee a certain way, the force of gravity will push me down.

Newton’s first law of motion says: "An object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion will continue to move in a straight line at constant speed forever unless some external force acts to change this motion". For example, a baseball hit by a batter would continue to move in a straight line forever if there were no air resistance to slow it down and no force of gravity to pull it toward the earth. No force is required to keep it moving in a straight line; that force was applied once when the batter hit the ball with the bat.

When you think a thought it produces a chemical in your brain. That chemical is a molecule. That molecule is a tangible item. Once a molecule is set in motion it cannot be stopped, only changed in direction

When you think a thought, you think no one can see my thoughts. My thoughts don’t count. Only my speech and my actions count. You think a thought is nothing. I am telling you a thought is something!

This physical law of motion is just as real as the force of gravity. You had better respect it! You had better become as familiar with Newton’s laws of motion as you are with his law of gravity.

When you think a thought it produces a chemical in your brain. That chemical is a molecule. That molecule is a tangible item. Once a molecule is set in motion it cannot be stopped, only changed in direction.

Let me explain Newton’s second law of motion. Newton’s first law says that, if no external force acts, an object at rest will remain at rest and an object with a constant velocity will retain that velocity indefinitely. If an external force acts on an object, then the implication is that it will change the velocity of the object.

For instance, suppose we have a metal puck on a frictionless air table. We find that the acceleration is directly proportional to the external force applied and is in the same direction.  Now if we put two pucks on top of each other, we double the mass, we find that any force produces an acceleration that is exactly half of what it was for one puck. If we use three pucks and the same force, the acceleration is one-third of what it was originally.

 The bible says Matthew 18:19 & 20:

If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

So if you are battling something that started with a bad thought molecule, add another puck, or another person. Or a pucky person! Ha! Ha!

Newton’s third law of motion says: Whenever an object A exerts a force on a second object B, object B exerts a force back on A; these two forces are equal in magnitude but opposite in direction. This law is often referred to as the action – reaction law, which states that to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.  For example, a boy pushing a box exerts a force on the box which is equal and opposite to the force exerted by the box. If the force the boy exerts is larger than any resisting forces, the box will move.

Now how does that apply to thought molecules and the Bible ?

Once you think a thought you have set a molecule in motion. Yes, it will go on forever. Every time you try to stop or block it, you drive it deeper into your mind. It pushes back just like the box. By trying to resist it you actually reinforce it. Repeating “I must stop eating too much…or stop smoking…or stop drinking” is self defeating. It keeps you focused on what you don’t want. The more you focus on “I don’t want to do this,” the more it pushes back.

You defeat bad thoughts by thinking of something better. If you have one molecule going in the wrong direction, get ten molecules going in the right direction. The bible says: Philippians 4:8 finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report: if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

By thinking something different you give the bad molecule friction or air resistance.

When Jesus was tempted by the devil, He didn’t say “I’m not hungry, or I don’t want this earthly kingdom.” He answered him by saying, “It is written.” When the devil whispers that God doesn’t love you, or he doesn’t care, your response should be, it is written.

You cannot erase a bad thought; only change it with another thought.

Mark 9:24 Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

This prayer says Lord; please change the direction of the molecules that have already been set in motion.

I MUST THINK AND BELIEVE that there will be a generation that will overcome the last enemy, that is death.

And I AM STANDING AS A CANDIDATE!

If you think your parents are mean or unfair, they will become mean and unfair. If you think your siblings are stealing from you, then they will.  If you think your parents are great people. They will be great people. If you think your siblings love you, then they will.  If you think God loves you and wants to give you good things, then he will.

When you go through tribulation with other people, you must not be tempted to think poorly of them. You must always give the other guy the benefit of the doubt.

Ok, so maybe you really are surrounded by bad guys, but if you continue a negative thought pattern the situation will get worse. If you create a positive thought pattern the situation will be minimized.

What ever you pretend, you become !

2 Corinthians 4:8 we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.

Set good thoughts and molecules in motion and remember it will continue forever.

Pray; thank you God for making me beautiful, smart, loving, giving, etc. Thank you for healing me. Thank you that I win every raffle. Weather you see yourself that way or not!

Pray; thank you God that you are not done with me that you love me and have many more things you want to show me. I know you want to use me. I want to serve you. Thank you that you are going to reveal many more bible teachings to me.
